The DEWALT anti-rotation E-Clutch® System, offers technology capable of detecting the motion of the tool. This feature senses the motion of the tool and shuts it down if necessary. The red indicator LED illuminates when the anti-rotation System is engaged so you’ll know as soon as it has been activated.

Pack Identification technology allows you to maximize your tool’s output by unlocking higher power when paired with a Flexvolt Battery.
Compared to DCD470 the DCD444 is much lighter and more compact and suitable for STUD and JOIST Drilling in tight areas (DCD444 is only 4.2 Kg Vs DCD470 which is 7.0 Kg)
