The Mirka DEROS RS is a new rotary sander for rough applications and general-purpose sanding. It is a heavy-duty sander suitable for a wide range of surfaces, providing the operator with a low noise level and smooth operation to reduce strain. The long-life brushless motor produces 750W of power.

Made to withstand demanding use, the purposeful design of the new DEROS RS sander makes it instantly recognizable. Lightweight for its size at 1.80 kg and with a low 11,5 cm profile, it retains the hallmarks of the DEROS product family, including easy-to-use ergonomics and compatibility with Mirka dust-free sanding. During sanding, the Mirka DEROS RS extracts dust from around the backing pad as well as through the extraction holes on the pad and abrasive.

The sanding speed is adjustable between 750rpm and 2500rpm, made easy with a clearly visible LED indicator. A special slow start function can be selected. To monitor vibration levels, the connectivity features of the Mirka DEROS RS include myMirka app compatibility over Bluetooth®. Accessories for the Mirka DEROS RS include pad savers and a specially designed shroud to direct dust into extraction channels from the working surface.

As a part of the renewed Mirka DEROS product family, the Mirka DEROS RS is suitable for sanding tough materials in demanding applications, ranging from wood and solid surfaces to metal and concrete.
